Professor of Economics and Public Policy
Claude Berrebi, Ph.D., MBA, is a Senior Lecturer at Hebrew University’s School of Public Policy, and an Economist at RAND.
Prior to joining Hebrew University Dr. Berrebi was a Professor of Economics in the Pardee RAND Graduate School, and a Visiting Associate Professor of Economics at UCLA.
Dr. Berrebi’s research addresses major concerns on topical public policy issues, and also includes studies on the security, economic, political and other public policy issues facing Israel. His terrorism and counterterrorism research has been extensively cited and published in top Economics, Public Policy and Political Science academic journals, and has been prominently featured in media outlets.
Dr. Berrebi earned his Ph.D. in economics at Princeton University. He holds B.A. and MA degrees in economics, both Summa Cum Laude, an MBA in finance Magna Cum Laude from the Hebrew University, and a second Masters degree in Applied Microeconomics from Princeton University.
